About the project:

Eden Garden Supply store, an East London plant and gardening store, is looking to build an e-commerce to attract new online customers and offer their existing customers the added convenience of shopping for the same great products but online.

As the company offers a large inventory of items to a wide audience, it is important the site is easy to navigate and clear to the user, allowing different paths of accessibility when searching for or locating products as well as when checking out.

Project Details:

Client:Eden Garden Supply Store

Project type:Concept / Solo

Time frame:2 weeks

Date:07 January, 2019

Result:

1. Users are able to easily search for products using the search feature as well as the navigation bar, and filter the results based on their needs.

2. Users can find inspiration for gift buying or easily access popular items the “Featured” or “Gifts” sections of homepage or by looking at types of products or brands when using the filters or using themes in the menu/navigation.

3. Reorders have also been made easy for repeat customers, by accessing their online account and order history. All of the products previously ordered appear in chronological order and have an image next to the product name and code and have a reorder button below the image. In this section, the user can also rate the product and have access to more order details if needed or even access the individual product pages if they need to be reminded of the product details when reordering.

4. The check-out process, has been streamlined, with three main sections and an optional one the user can skip. The information loads automatically once the user is logged in, so card details and addresses are saved for an easier check out. Other products are also recommended during the check-out process before the card details are confirmed, to help users remember products they may have forgotten while reordering.
